- Grated Gruyère cheese - 100g

Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into a 9-inch (23 cm) tart pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Prick the base with a fork.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove and let cool slightly.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until caramelized.
- Add thyme and season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the grated Gruyère until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pre-baked crust, then layer the caramelized onions on top.
- Return the tart to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
