- Puff pastry - 200 grams
- Fresh spinach - 200 grams
- Eggs - 3 large
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
- Greek yogurt - 50 grams
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, Greek yogurt, crumbled feta cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooled spinach mixture into the egg mixture until well combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry and fit it into a 20 cm (8 inch) tart pan, trimming the edges as necessary.
- Pour the spinach and egg mixture into the pastry-lined tart pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
- Allow the tart to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
