Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Water - 100 milliliters
- Active dry yeast - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mixed mushrooms (e.g., cremini, shiitake, button) - 250 grams, sliced
- Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Black pepper - to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, and active dry yeast. Gradually stir in the water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth, then cover with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- While the dough is rising, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan, season with black pepper and thyme, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and any moisture has evaporated. Remove from heat.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to fit a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to the baking sheet and spread the mushroom mixture evenly on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, slice, and serve warm.
