Ingredients

  • Fresh salmon fillet - 200 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
  • Chives - 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
  • Capers - 1 tablespoon, rinsed and chopped
  • Red onion - 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Mixed greens - 50 grams, for serving

Steps

  1. Begin by ensuring the salmon is very fresh and sushi-grade. Finely dice the salmon fillet into small cubes and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the lemon juice, olive oil, Dijon mustard, chives, capers, and red onion to the bowl with the salmon.
  3. Gently mix all the ingredients together, being careful not to mash the salmon. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. While the tartare is chilling, prepare the mixed greens on two plates.
  6. Once ready, spoon the salmon tartare mixture on top of the greens and serve immediately.
