  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Fresh chives - 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
  • Sea salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Avocado - 1 small, diced (for serving)
  • Microgreens (optional) - for garnish

Steps

  1. Start by finely dicing the fresh fish into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the lemon juice, olive oil, chopped shallot, capers, parsley, and chives to the bowl with the fish.
  3. Season with sea salt and black pepper to taste, then gently mix everything together until well combined.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. To serve, place a small ring mold or a serving ring on a plate and fill it with the fish tartare mixture, pressing down gently.
  6. Remove the ring mold carefully and garnish with diced avocado and microgreens if using.
