- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and olive oil to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for best results.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and thread onto skewers if desired. Discard any leftover marinade.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
