Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs - 400 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 30 ml
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and olive oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and thread onto skewers if desired. Discard any leftover marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
