Ingredients
- White fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia) - 250 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Corn tortillas - 4
- Red cabbage - 100 grams, shredded
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
- Lime wedges - for serving
Steps
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the marinated fish on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- While the fish is grilling, warm the corn tortillas on a separate pan or directly on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the grill and break it into bite-sized pieces.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the grilled fish on the warm tortillas, and top with shredded red cabbage and avocado slices.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
