- Salmon fillets - 2 x 150g
- Heavy cream - 200 ml
- Butter - 30 g
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper, then place them skin-side down in the skillet.
- Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the fresh dill, parsley, lemon juice, and additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the fillets. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm through.
- Serve the salmon drizzled with the creamy sauce and garnish with extra herbs if desired.
