Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets - 2 x 150g
  • Heavy cream - 200 ml
  • Butter - 30 g
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper, then place them skin-side down in the skillet.
  4. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the fresh dill, parsley, lemon juice, and additional salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the fillets. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm through.
  8. Serve the salmon drizzled with the creamy sauce and garnish with extra herbs if desired.
