Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Score the chestnuts with an 'X' on the flat side and place them on a baking tray.
- Roast the chestnuts in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the skins start to peel back and the nuts are tender.
- Remove the chestnuts from the oven and let them cool slightly. Peel the chestnuts while they are still warm.
