- Duck breast - 200 grams

- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams
- Cucumber - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
- Walnuts - 30 grams, chopped
- Goat cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Score the skin of the duck breast in a crosshatch pattern and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the duck breast skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove the duck from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
- Add the sliced duck breast on top of the salad, sprinkle with walnuts and crumbled goat cheese, and drizzle with the dressing.
- Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
