  • All-purpose flour - 150 grams
  • Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sea salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolk, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the butter mixture, then mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  6. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  7. Roll out the chilled dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1 cm thickness.
  8. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
