- almond milk - 120 milliliters
- coconut oil - 2 tablespoons (melted)
- maple syrup - 100 milliliters
- water - 100 milliliters
- vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the coconut sugar, almond milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- In a small saucepan, combine the maple syrup and water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Pour the maple syrup mixture into a baking dish.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the batter onto the syrup mixture in the baking dish, leaving space between each scoop.
