Ingredients

  • lean ground beef - 300 grams
  • fresh basil - 10 grams
  • fresh thyme - 5 grams
  • garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • salt - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • sun-dried tomatoes - 50 grams, chopped
  • goat cheese - 50 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
  • whole grain burger buns - 2
  • mixed salad greens - 50 grams
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, chopped basil, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, mix the goat cheese and Greek yogurt in a small bowl until smooth to create the spread.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes until golden.
  6. Assemble the burgers by spreading the goat cheese mixture on the bottom half of the bun, placing the cooked patty on top, followed by chopped sun-dried tomatoes and mixed salad greens.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
