Steps
- Begin by cleaning the octopus under cold running water, removing any beak or innards.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the octopus. Simmer for about 30 minutes or until tender.
- Once cooked, remove the octopus and let it cool. After it has cooled, cut it into manageable sections.
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the octopus pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
