Ingredients

  • Octopus - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon wedges - for serving

Steps

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for 20 minutes until tender. Remove and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Cut the cooled octopus tentacles into manageable pieces and add them to the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the marinated octopus on the grill.
  5. Grill the octopus for about 3-4 minutes on each side until nicely charred.
  6. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
