- Octopus - 400 grams
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon wedges - for serving
Steps
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for 20 minutes until tender. Remove and let cool.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Cut the cooled octopus tentacles into manageable pieces and add them to the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Once hot, place the marinated octopus on the grill.
- Grill the octopus for about 3-4 minutes on each side until nicely charred.
- Remove from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
