- Coconut milk - 120ml
- Egg - 1 large
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp

- Maple syrup - 60ml
- Coconut oil - 30g (melted)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a small baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- In a small saucepan, combine maple syrup and 120ml of water, bringing it to a simmer to create a syrup.
- Pour the syrup gently over the batter in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
