Ingredients

  • Pork ribs - 500 grams
  • Honey - 3 tablespoons
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Fresh rosemary (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar to create a marinade.
  3. Place the pork ribs in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for enhanced flavor.
  4. Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them in a baking dish. Reserve the marinade for later use.
  5. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, until the ribs are tender.
  6. While the ribs are baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  7. After 90 minutes, remove the ribs from the oven and brush them with the thickened marinade.
  8. Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes until caramelized and sizzling.
  9. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
