Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Fresh rosemary (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar to create a marinade.
- Place the pork ribs in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, making sure they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for enhanced flavor.
- Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them in a baking dish. Reserve the marinade for later use.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, until the ribs are tender.
- While the ribs are baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- After 90 minutes, remove the ribs from the oven and brush them with the thickened marinade.
- Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes until caramelized and sizzling.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
