Ingredients

  • Large potatoes - 2
  • Ground halal beef - 150 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cheese (grated, optional) - 50 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pierce them several times with a fork. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until tender.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the ground halal beef to the skillet, stirring in the paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chopped parsley and remove from heat.
  6. Once the potatoes are cooked, let them cool slightly. Cut each potato in half lengthwise and scoop out a portion of the flesh, leaving a shell.
  7. Mix the scooped potato flesh with the beef mixture until well combined. If desired, fold in the grated cheese.
  8. Stuff each potato half with the beef mixture, packing it well.
  9. Return the stuffed potatoes to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy on top.
