- Fresh sashimi-grade white fish (such as tuna or snapper) - 200 grams, diced
- Coconut milk - 150 ml
- Lime juice - 30 ml
- Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Avocado - 1, diced
- Red bell pepper - 1/2, diced
- Fresh cilantro - 10 grams, chopped
- Green onion - 2, chopped
- Chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced fish with lime juice and sea salt. Mix well and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, prepare the vegetables: thinly slice the cucumber, dice the avocado and red bell pepper, and chop the cilantro and green onion.
- After 10 minutes, remove the fish from the refrigerator and add the coconut milk, cucumber, avocado, red bell pepper, cilantro, and green onion. Gently mix until everything is well combined.
- If desired, sprinkle with chili flakes for a bit of heat.
- Serve immediately in bowls, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
