Ingredients

  • Fresh sashimi-grade white fish (such as tuna or snapper) - 200 grams, diced
  • Coconut milk - 150 ml
  • Lime juice - 30 ml
  • Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Avocado - 1, diced
  • Red bell pepper - 1/2, diced
  • Fresh cilantro - 10 grams, chopped
  • Green onion - 2, chopped
  • Chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced fish with lime juice and sea salt. Mix well and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  2. While the fish is marinating, prepare the vegetables: thinly slice the cucumber, dice the avocado and red bell pepper, and chop the cilantro and green onion.
  3. After 10 minutes, remove the fish from the refrigerator and add the coconut milk, cucumber, avocado, red bell pepper, cilantro, and green onion. Gently mix until everything is well combined.
  4. If desired, sprinkle with chili flakes for a bit of heat.
  5. Serve immediately in bowls, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
