Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams

  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Anchovy fillets - 50 grams (or substitute with grilled chicken for Halal)
  • Capers - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil leaves - a handful
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Tear the mozzarella cheese into pieces and distribute them evenly over the sauce.
  6. Top the pizza with sliced black olives, halved cherry tomatoes, and anchovy fillets.
  7. Sprinkle capers over the toppings and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Drizzle olive oil over the top of the pizza for added flavor.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
