  • Sausage (dairy-free) - 150 grams, sliced
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh basil leaves - a handful, for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced sausage. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced red bell pepper, red onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.
  6. Sprinkle the cooked sausage and vegetable mixture over the tomato sauce.
  7. Season with oregano and black pepper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
