  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Zucchini - 100 grams, thinly sliced
  • Bell pepper - 50 grams, diced
  • Cooked ham - 50 grams, diced
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, grated Gruyère cheese, egg, baking powder, salt, and olive oil to form a dough.
  3. Press the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to form a circular pizza base, about 1 cm thick.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While the crust is baking, prepare the toppings by sautéing the zucchini and bell pepper in a non-stick pan over medium heat until softened.
  6. Remove the crust from the oven and layer the sautéed vegetables, diced ham, and fresh thyme evenly over the top.
  7. Season with black pepper and return the pizza to the oven for an additional 8-10 minutes until the toppings are heated through.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
