Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, grated Gruyère cheese, egg, baking powder, salt, and olive oil to form a dough.
- Press the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to form a circular pizza base, about 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, prepare the toppings by sautéing the zucchini and bell pepper in a non-stick pan over medium heat until softened.
- Remove the crust from the oven and layer the sautéed vegetables, diced ham, and fresh thyme evenly over the top.
- Season with black pepper and return the pizza to the oven for an additional 8-10 minutes until the toppings are heated through.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
