- Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Kalamata olives - 50 grams, pitted and halved
- Fresh basil - 10 grams, chopped
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Vegan cheese (optional) - 50 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add the sliced red and green bell peppers and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Distribute the sautéed vegetables over the tomato sauce, followed by the Kalamata olives.
- Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper over the top.
- If using, add the vegan cheese evenly across the pizza.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
