Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Kalamata olives - 50 grams, pitted and halved
  • Fresh basil - 10 grams, chopped
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Vegan cheese (optional) - 50 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the sliced red and green bell peppers and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Distribute the sautéed vegetables over the tomato sauce, followed by the Kalamata olives.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper over the top.
  8. If using, add the vegan cheese evenly across the pizza.
  9. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
  10. Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
