- Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Fresh basil - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a round shape, about 0.5 cm thick.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the red onion and garlic until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
- Spread the sautéed vegetables evenly over the pizza dough.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables.
- Garnish with fresh thyme and basil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
