Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Fresh spinach - 150 grams
  • Ricotta cheese - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg - a pinch

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a 30 cm diameter circle.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Remove from heat.
  6. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Distribute the sautéed spinach over the ricotta layer.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the spinach.
  9. Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the pizza.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  11. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve hot.
