  • Red bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Green bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Fresh red chili peppers - 2, thinly sliced
  • Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a 30 cm diameter circle.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the dough with olive oil and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the tomato sauce.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced red bell pepper, green bell pepper, fresh red chili peppers, onion, minced garlic, oregano, black pepper, and salt.
  7. Distribute the vegetable mixture evenly over the cheese.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
