- Tomato sauce - 100 grams (preferably no added sugar)
- Mixed olives (green and black) - 100 grams, pitted and sliced
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh basil - a few leaves for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, egg, mozzarella cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper, and mix until a dough forms.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the dough into a circular shape, approximately 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until it is lightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, in another bowl, mix the tomato sauce with dried oregano.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce, followed by the sliced olives.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
