  • Almond flour - 150 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams (preferably no added sugar)
  • Mixed olives (green and black) - 100 grams, pitted and sliced
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh basil - a few leaves for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, egg, mozzarella cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the dough into a circular shape, approximately 1 cm thick.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until it is lightly golden.
  5. While the crust is baking, in another bowl, mix the tomato sauce with dried oregano.
  6. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce, followed by the sliced olives.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
