- Basil pesto - 50 grams
- Cherry tomatoes, halved - 100 grams
- Fresh basil leaves - a handful
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, egg, mozzarella cheese, salt, and black pepper until well combined to form the dough.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the dough into a round pizza shape, about 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the basil pesto evenly over the surface.
- Top with halved cherry tomatoes and sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
