- Bacon (diced) - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh chives (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, egg, and half of the mozzarella cheese to form a dough.
- Spread the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a round pizza crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until slightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the diced bacon until crispy.
- Add the thinly sliced onion to the skillet and cook until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the crème fraîche evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle the sautéed bacon and onions over the crème fraîche, then top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped chives before slicing and serving.
