Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 150 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Prosciutto - 100 grams, thinly sliced
  • Arugula - 30 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 50 grams, halved
  • Balsamic reduction - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the egg and 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press it into a round shape, about 0.5 cm thick.
  5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden and firm.
  6. Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Layer the prosciutto slices on top of the cheese and return the pizza to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Once done, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
  9. Top with fresh arugula, halved cherry tomatoes, and drizzle with balsamic reduction before slicing.
