  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable broth - 250 ml
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh basil - a handful, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced red onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red bell pepper to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the pepper softens.
