- Broccoli florets - 200 grams

- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Two minutes before the pasta is done, add the broccoli florets to the pot to blanch them together.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic and red chili flakes, sautéing until the garlic is fragrant but not browned, about 1-2 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving a little pasta water in case of need, and add them to the skillet with the garlic oil.
- Toss everything together, adding salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to taste. If the mixture seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
