  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  6. Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sun-dried tomatoes and garlic.
  7. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired sauce consistency.
  8. Stir in the chopped basil, nutritional yeast, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
