Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pasta - 200 grams
  • Fresh basil - 50 grams
  • Cooked green lentils - 100 grams
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
  • Pine nuts - 20 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Olive oil - 60 ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, combine the fresh basil, cooked green lentils, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. While the food processor is running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
