- Almond flour - 1 cup
- Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
- Arrowroot powder - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons, melted
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, arrowroot powder, and salt until well mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg, melted coconut oil, honey, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Fold the edges of the rectangle toward the center, then fold in half to create layers, similar to a book.
- Slice the rolled dough into 1 cm thick pieces and arrange them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
