  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lettuce - 50 grams, shredded
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, diced
  • Yogurt - 4 tablespoons
  • Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the boneless chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75°C.
  4. While the chicken is grilling, prepare the yogurt sauce by combining yogurt, chopped mint, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  6. Warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until slightly toasted.
  7. To assemble, place sliced grilled chicken in the warm pita, then add shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and cucumber.
  8. Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the filling and fold the pita in half before serving.
