- Parmesan cheese - 30g, grated (optional)
Steps
- Cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and diced carrot, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet, cooking until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in the tomato purée, canned diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
