- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Canned crushed tomatoes - 400 grams
- Fresh basil leaves - 10 leaves, chopped
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, diced
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the canned crushed tomatoes to the saucepan, along with salt and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the chopped basil and continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the tomato sauce, tossing until well combined.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in the diced mozzarella, allowing it to melt slightly into the pasta.
