  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated (optional)

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

  5. Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the tomato sauce.

  7. Stir in the chopped basil and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.
  8. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
