- Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon, freshly ground
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh parsley - for garnish, chopped
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the diced halal turkey bacon. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper until well combined.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water and drain the pasta.
- Quickly add the hot pasta to the skillet with the turkey bacon and garlic, tossing to combine.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and slowly mix in the egg and cheese mixture, stirring quickly to create a creamy sauce. If needed, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to achieve desired creaminess.
- Season with salt to taste and serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
