- Cherry tomatoes (halved) - 150 grams
- Fresh basil leaves (chopped) - 30 grams
- Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the chopped green and black olives to the skillet, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water and drain the rest.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet along with the reserved pasta water, and toss everything together gently.
- Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
