  • Heavy cream (light) - 100 ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh dill (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season the salmon fillet with salt and black pepper, then place it skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Allow the sauce to simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add the fresh dill.
  6. Flake the cooked salmon into bite-sized pieces and gently fold it into the sauce.
  7. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta with the sauce and salmon.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and additional dill if desired.
