Ingredients

  • Pasta (penne or fusilli) - 200g
  • Chicken breast - 250g, diced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, diced
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Heavy cream - 100ml
  • Parmesan cheese - 50g, grated
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic, diced onion, and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, paprika, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
