- Almond flour - 150 grams
- Tapioca flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 60 milliliters
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Fresh mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Fresh basil leaves - a handful
- Sliced bell peppers - 50 grams
- Sliced mushrooms - 50 grams
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, tapioca flour, salt, and dried oregano.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg, olive oil, and water until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and use your hands to shape it into a pizza crust, about 1/2 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until it starts to set and lightly golden.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
- Add the fresh mozzarella cheese, bell peppers, and mushrooms on top of the sauce.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve warm.
