- Ground beef - 100 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Thyme - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg (for egg wash) - 1, beaten
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, ground beef, sautéed onion and garlic, parsley, thyme, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 3mm thick. Cut one large rectangle for the base and a smaller rectangle for the top.

- Lay the smaller pastry rectangle over the filling, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork or your fingers.
- Brush the top of the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
