Ingredients

  • Ground beef (lean) - 300 grams
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Cucumber - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Hard-boiled eggs - 2, sliced
  • Olives (black) - 50 grams, pitted and sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Red wine vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Form into two equal patties.
  2. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  3. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the dressing by whisking together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
  4. Slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in a toaster.
  5. Assemble the burgers: place a patty on each bun, top with sliced tomatoes, cucumber, hard-boiled eggs, olives, and fresh basil leaves.
  6. Drizzle the dressing over the top of the assembled burgers and close with the other half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately with a side of mixed greens or your choice of vegetables.
