  • Turnips - 400 grams

  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon (optional for sweetness)

Steps

  1. Peel the turnips and cut them into uniform pieces, about 2 cm in size.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the turnip pieces.
  3. Sauté the turnips for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to brown.
  4. Pour in the bone broth, add thyme, sea salt, and black pepper, and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cover the saucepan and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the turnips are tender and the liquid has reduced to a glaze.
  6. If desired, stir in the honey for added sweetness and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve warm, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh thyme if desired.
