Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams
  • Unsalted butter - 30 grams
  • Heavy cream - 60 milliliters
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • White pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg - a pinch
  • Fresh chives - for garnish (optional)

Steps

  1. Cut the cauliflower into florets and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the cauliflower florets.
  3. Cook the cauliflower for about 15 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork.
  4. Drain the cauliflower and transfer it to a blender or food processor.
  5. Add the butter, heavy cream, salt, white pepper, and nutmeg to the blender.
  6. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
