Ingredients

  • Button mushrooms - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Skewers - 4 (if wooden, soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Clean the button mushrooms with a damp cloth and add them to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated mushrooms onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each mushroom.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and slightly charred.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve warm, garnished with additional fresh herbs if desired.
