Ingredients

  • Button mushrooms - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4

Steps

  1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 15 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, chopped thyme, chopped rosemary, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and trim the stems if necessary.
  4. Add the mushrooms to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Thread the marinated mushrooms onto the soaked wooden skewers, about 4-5 mushrooms per skewer.
  7. Grill the mushroom brochettes for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden and slightly charred.
  8. Remove from the grill and serve warm with a drizzle of extra lemon juice if desired.
